Film Competition FAQ

Q. When does the Competition start?
A. The Competition starts on Monday 16th November 2015 and deadline is Sunday 31st January 2016

Q. What’s the maximum film length?
A. 3 minutes Maximum but it can be shorter!

Q. Does it cost anything to submit my film(s)
A. Absolutely not! So, no excuses, submit your film!

Q. When is the submission deadline?
A. Submissions must be received by Sunday 31st January 2016 via our online entry form. If you have any problems submitting to us, please let us know.

Q. Can I submit more than one film?
A. Yes please!

Q. If I am under 16 years old do I need parental permission?
A. Yes, please indicate and we will send the relevant forms to be filled in.

Q. Do I need to submit a new form for each film I submit?
A. Yes please. We need to know the individual info for each entry, even if your personal details remain the same.

Q. When will I find out if my film is selected for the finalists programme?
A. We will be in touch with all submitters and a full programme should be available in early February 2016.

Q. When will the finalists be named?
A. Late January/Early February 2016.

Q. When will the winners be made public?
A. February 2016.

Q. Who are the judges?
A. Right now… These are a surprise! But keep an eye on our page for more information.

Q. What are the prizes?
A. These will be announced in more detail shortly.

Q. Are prizes per person or per winning film?
A. Prizes will be given for the winning film not per person in each team.

Q. What is the preferred digital file type for submission?
A. Please provide a private or password protected link to your film, uploaded to either Vimeo or YouTube. If the video is public it will not be accepted.
